CulturePolis in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki invites you, aged 18-25, to the 2nd of a series of three meetings on the topic “(Hyper)tourism for all, impacts for whom?”. This series of meetings aims to examine the social and cultural impacts of (hyper)tourism on local communities, with a particular emphasis on participatory solutions and social cohesion.

📅 Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2025
🕔 Time: 18:00 – 20:00
📍 Location: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Political Science, Room 107 (1st floor of the School of Environmental Sciences)

In the 2nd meeting, we will analyze the results of the nationwide online survey that ran in December 2024. We will choose which of them we consider most critical and interesting. Participants will take them home and prepare a plan for project proposals in combination with CulturePolis actions.

In the 1st meeting we introduced the topic of hypertourism and a dialogue to define the social issues that concern young people.

🔹 What to expect:

  • Presentation of the results of the nationwide youth survey on the topic of (hyper)tourism
  • Open dialogue around the important issues of the survey
  • Participation in the formulation of solutions for local communities

This is a unique opportunity to express your concerns and actively contribute to the discussion around (hyper)tourism and social sustainability.

We are waiting for you!

* Many other actions will take place for all age groups in 2025!
