Important announcement:

 

Due to the expected bad weather on Friday afternoon, 25 September, Friday’s event has been moved to Saturday, 26 September, from 11:00 to 13:00, at the central square of Kamara village, where it will be combined with the scheduled activity for the Kamara Olive Grove. The event will present the plans for the renovation of the traditional Kafeneio and the future use of the olive grove as part of the GENESTIA/CorfuGen initiative. Following the presentation in the village square, a guided walk through the olive grove will take place, weather permitting. The event is organised with the support of the Kamara Cultural Association.

The event on Sunday, 27 September, at the Centre for Environmental Education and Sustainability (KEPEA) of Corfu will take place as scheduled.

Saturday 26 September | 11:00–13:00 | Traditional Kafeneio and Kamara Olive Grove

An open event in Kamara, starting at the village’s central square, where the plans for the renovation of the traditional Kafeneio and the future use of the Kamara Olive Grove will be presented. Weather permitting, this will be followed by a guided walk through the centuries-old olive grove.

Sunday 27 September | 11:00–17:00 | “Perivoli” Eco-Hub & KEPEA Corfu

A day dedicated to the natural landscape and environmental heritage of southern Corfu, starting at the “Perivoli” Ecological Hub and organised in collaboration with the Centre for Environmental Education and Sustainability (KEPEA) of Corfu, with an exploration of the wetlands of Korissia and the Alykes of Lefkimmi.
